The Latin Neurosurgery (LNeuro) journal ISSN 3086-0725 is the official publication of the Federación Latinoamericana de Sociedades de Neurocirugía (FLANC), a non-profit organization created in 1945 with the purpose of fostering the progress of Neurosurgery in Latin American countries. One of the objectives of FLANC is to promote academic scientific exchange between societies on the continent and between these societies and other societies and/or federations outside the continent. The journal Neurocirugía was also created for this purpose.
